Sizeable entertaining space and stylish stone retaining walls

The client’s brief requested a garden on two levels to mitigate the boundary fence being on top of a soil heap, also required was sizeable entertaining space on both levels, to achieve this we designed and constructed a fabulous, stone faced retaining wall, the sinuous shape softens its impact and adds style, Brazilian black slate paving was laid full width of the house, to give a generous entertaining space with a classic look, we dealt with two natural springs in the bank with drainage and then created new levels for the lawns, on the top area we added a retaining sleeper wall against the bank which doubles as a seat.
Overall the new garden fulfils the brief and looks amazing.
